In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 1.03 of the Foreign Trade Policy (2015-2020), and under the provisions of the para 3.13 (a) of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20, as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby withdraws the MEIS benefit, as notified vide Public Notice No. 65/2015-2020 dated 28.12.2018 for exports of fresh and chilled onions - HS Code 07031010, for exports made on or after the date of publication of this Public notice.
Effect of this Public Notice: The rate at which MEIS benefits for export of 'Onions Fresh or Chilled' under ITC (HS) code 07031010 is granted under the FTP has been made zero (0%) from the current 10% with immediate effect.
