Notification No 05 dated 10-05-2021- "Import under above HS codes of this chapter (85) shall require compulsory registration under CHIMS by inserting Policy Condition No 6." The facility of online testing of CHIMS, without payment of registration fee, will be available w.e.f. 01-05-2021 on trial basis. CHIMS will be effective from 01-08-2021, i.e B/E on or after 01-08-2021 shall require registration under CHIMS. Online facility available w.e.f 01-08-2021. Notification No 15 dated 09-08-2021 - The trial period of CHIMS is extended by further two months i.e. upto 30-09-2021. Implementation date for CHIMS shall be 01-10-2021 i.e B/E on or after 01-10-2021 shall require registration under CHIMS. Online (w.e.f. 01-10-2021) |
