Penmatsa Sita Rama Raju
Sita Rama Raju has spent 32 years in indirect taxation, customs, and foreign trade, starting his career as Head of Indirect Taxation at Indo Rama Synthetics (India) Ltd before founding Kireeti, where he has now served as Managing Director for 25 years.
His work spans Customs, Foreign Trade Policy, and GST — along with the regimes it replaced (Central Excise, Service Tax, Sales Tax) — as well as industrial subsidies. Over three decades, he has advised more than 10,000 clients across sectors including engineering, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, plastics, cosmetics, automobiles, food processing, agriculture, textiles, minor forest produce, and marine exports, securing tax exemptions, concessions, deferments, and refunds worth thousands of crores of rupees. He has also spoken at or run more than 500 workshops and seminars on trade and tax.
He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and of FIEO, the Federation of Indian Export Organizations. His working style leans on documented systems and SOPs — a structured, low-error environment with clearly defined targets.
