Ministry of Food Processing Industries invites proposals / Expression of Interest (Eol) from potential promoters for setting up of Backward & Forward Linkages in the processed food industry of the country. The willing promoters / investors may submit their proposals only through online portal (http://sampada-mofpi.gov.in/linkages/Login.aspx) as per the revised operational guidelines for the Scheme for Creation of Backward & Forward Linkages dated 22.02.2018 available on Ministry's website: www.mofpi.nic.in (Schemes>Creation of Backward and Forward Linkages-> Download Guidelines and Circulars). No physical mode for submission of proposal shall be accepted.
Currently, four (4) number of slots are available for General Category proposals and separately, three (3) more number of slots are available for North Eastern Region. Selection of proposals for these slots will be based on fulfillment of conditions prescribed in the Scheme Guidelines in order of score of the proposals as per marking scheme given in Scheme Guidelines.
The last date of application is 16.07.2020 (5 PM) for General Category proposals and 16.08.2020 (5 PM) for NER proposals.
The proposals/Eols should be accompanied by two separate demand drafts, one of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) as a refundable security deposit and another of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) as non-refundable cost of Eol document drawn in favour of "The Pay & Account Officer, Ministry of Food Processing Industries" payable at New Delhi. The Demand Drafts in original shall reach the Ministry by 5 p.m. of the last day of application failing which the online application will not be entertained.
After selection of the suitable applicants, the amount of EMD will be refunded to the unsuccessful bidders. The EMD of the successful bidders shall be retained by the Ministry as Performance Security till the completion of the project. The amount of EMD retained as performance security shall be forfeited in the event of non-completion of the project or withdrawing from the project after according approval.
