S.O. (E): In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of FT (I)&R) Act; 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.()1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends the import policy conditions of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule – I (Import Policy).

  1. A new import Policy Condition is added in Chapter 29 and 38 of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule — I (Import Policy) as Policy Condition 4 and 5 respectively:

The Importer shall, for, each import consignment, submit a copy of the Bill of Entry within 30 days to the Ozone Cell, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, New Delhi.

  1. Effect of the Notification: The notification amends the policy conditions for imports of various chemicals in Chapters 29, 38 and 39 of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule - I (Import Policy).
    1. Importers of chemicals specified at S. Nos. I to 15 needs to submit a copy of the Bill of Entry within 30 days to the Ozone Cell, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, New Delhi.
    2. For S. No. 4, Import of HCFC-141b is prohibited except for feedstock application.
    3. For S. Nos. 16 to 18, Import of pre-blended polyol containing Group VI substances, including HCFC-141 B, is not permitted as per Ozone Depleting Substances (Regulation and Control) Amendment Rules, 2014.

This issues with the approval of Minister of Commerce & Industry.
