CEFPPC latest EOI extension date

This is in reference to the Expression of Interest (Eol) notice uploaded on this Ministry's website on 01.06.2020 for Creation / Expansion of Food Processing & Preservation Capacities under the Scheme for Creation / Expansion of Food Processing & Preservation Capacities (CEFPPC) of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY). The last date of submission of proposal / Eol is on or before 11:30 PM on 31.08.2020

Ministry has reviewed the status of implementation of the scheme. Based on the request received from various investors/ entrepreneurs, the closing / last date for submission of EOI / proposal has now been extended upto 30.11.2020.

Interested promoters / investors, willing to setup their food processing units, may submit their proposal / Eol through online portal (http://sampada-mofpi.gov.in/cefppc/login.aspx) on or before 1 1 :30 PM on 30.11.2020 as per the modified CEFPPC scheme guidelines dated 02.03.2020 available on MoFPI website: https://www.mofpi.nic.in and decisions taken by Inter-Ministerial Approval Committee (IMAC) in its meeting held on 26.02.2020 (refer Annexure to this letter/circular). No physical mode for submission of proposal shall be accepted.

The promoter(s) / investor(s) are advised to apply & submit applications well in advance before closure of online portal and not to wait till the last date/time for submission. MoFPl shall not be responsible if applicants are not able to submit their applications due to last minute rush.

The proposals received against this Eol will be approved subject to availability of funds and vacant slots under the Scheme. Mere submission of application with required documents against the Eol does not confer any right on the applicant for claim of grant-in-aid under the scheme.

This issues with the approval of Competent Authority

Decisions taken by Inter-Ministerial Approval Committee(IMAC) in its meeting held on 26.02.2020

(i). IMAC directed to allow only one proposal to a family under PMKSY schemes. Family will include all members / relatives.

(ii). IMAC directed to check the net-worth of each promoter and to ascertain that it is at least equivalent or more than proposed promoter 's equity / contribution before submitting the same for approval. The net worth calculation methodology defined in the lntegrated Cold Chain Scheme may be adopted for calculation of net worth.
